THINGS TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT – GRATITUDE LIST

I received this from a lovely lady I am coaching in response to a Mental Preparedness exercise. I think it excels in spirit and expression. What do you think?

When is the last time that you prepared a gratitude list? Write one and read it again every few days. The list is the arsenal that contains the weapons needed to slay the bearers of negative energy.

Make your list use it next time you experience things that do go your way. Remembering wonderful experiences can transmute negativism into a positive experience. Try It.

1. A sunny day after lots of rain

2. A rainy day after a long drought

3. A quiet day

4. Fireplaces – in winter

5. My daughter’s smile

6. My daughter – happy & well

7. Pets – happy & well

8. Cats stretched in front of the fireplace

9. Cats in bed

10. Good first cup of coffee of the day

11. A good book and time to enjoy it

12. A good meal – that I did not have to cook

13. Something you really want ON SALE!!

14. A clean car

15. A clean kitchen – bedroom – house

16. My sister’s voice

17. Movies without commercials

18. Bagels & croissons

19. A raise you didnt expect

20. Stretching

21. Getting a good back rub

22. A flock of parakees flying overhead

23. A trip without hitches or mishaps

24. Being with good friends

25. A secure job thats interesting and stimulating and feels worthwhile

26. Chocolate!!

27. An aisle seat on a plane

28. A safe & comfortable flight

29. Adinner party that goes well

30. A day with time for reflection

31. A safe drive through lots of traffic\

32. A good movie – for $2.!!

33. Christmas carols

34. A good listener to tell your troubles to

35. Handel’s Messiah on Christmas eve

36. Scented candles

37. Peppermint foot lotion

38. Living in a safe & free country

39. Freedom to express your opinion without fear

40. A friend breaking thru her depression or problems

41. Making a breakthrough myself around difficulties

42. Being offered help without expectations or demands

43. A mild day

44. A house accident where no one is hurt

45. A ‘sold’ sign on a ‘for sale’ sign.

46. Sabbath!!

47. Someone else to take care of the details

48. Being invited by loving people to join their group

49. Being invited to lunch when I did not contribute anything.
50. Realizing how very simple it is to make a list of gratitude’s.
